Your First Visit
Your first visit to our clinic is important. We will walk you through your treatment plan to try and make you feel comfortable during your visit.
What should I expect during my first visit?
At Sandy Hill Dental in Ottawa, we want each one of our patients to maintain their oral health. We do this by monitoring their oral health as the years go on. Our staff wants to help you through each appointment. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
How long will your first visit take?
Your first appointment will take about 60 minutes. We will need you to fill out patient forms, so arriving a few minutes early would be best.
What will happen during your first visit?
During your first appointment at Sandy Hill Dental Centre, we will likely want to familiarize ourselves with your dental history. For this, we will:
- Review your oral care history, including any issues you have regarding your dental health.
- Perform an oral exam, usually including x-rays, to assess anything that cannot be seen with the naked eye
- Create a dental health plan
